In his address, Hon. Essien said that he had sponsored three bills, moved six motions and co-sponsored 16 bills with his colleagues.
In his remarks, the Chairman of the Occasion, Obong Mfon Unaidit said that since Hon. Nse Essien was elected into the State House of Assembly, Onna people have enjoyed relative peace and he has brought empowerment to over 500 youths in Onna and a sizeable number in the state.
He commended the present administration led by Udom Emmanuel for restoring hope of Akwa Ibom people by creating employment opportunities, wealth creation and eliminating poverty by establishing industries. He therefore called on Onna people to give Hon. Nse Essien another term come 2019 to break the junx of one term syndrome.

The Speaker of Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Onofiok Luke said that Hon. Nse Essien is one of the team player in the Sixth Assembly for his exemplary leadership and eloquency at the floor of the House, pleading the people of Onna and the leader of the party in the state, Udom Emmanuel to give him a second chance to represent his Constituency in 2019.
According to the Speaker, "Hon. Nse Essien hardly raised his hand in the floor of the House but when he speak, he speak with wisdom."
In his remarks, the Honourable Commissioner for Works, Mr Ephraim Inyangeyen who is also from Onna local government area commended Hon. Nse Essien for representing the people well. He added that in 2019, when the leader of the party, Governor Udom Emmanuel give a directive, all of them will follow.
He said, "Beyond what is display here as empowerment items, I can say INDO is a grass-root man who is socially involved with his people which Onna constituents are satisfied with his representation; And at a time the leader of the LGA -His Excellency Deacon Udom Emmanuel will so direct, we won't hesitate to return Indo for another term of four years".
Items presented to beneficiaries at the Constituency Briefing and Empowerment include 8 cars, 18 mini buses, 12 sewing machines, 30 motorcycles, deep freezers, business support of N50,000 for 24 beneficiaries, 23 beneficiaries of skill acquisition in fashion design, tricycle trucks, N10,000 monthly empowerment to youth since 2015, facilitated employment of 15 indigenes of Onna into Civil Defence, Immigration Service, Akwa Ibom StatePolytechnic and oil servicing companies, N20,000 Business Support for 10 physically handicapped, N20,000 Student Support Programme for 100 Onna Students etc.
