**Victor Udofia consults Ini LGA PDP Ward Vice Chairmen, Secretaries

** Mobilizes support for Udom, Akpabio 2019

In what could be described as an unprecedented show of gravitas, the member representing Ikono State Constituency in the State Assembly, Rt.Hon Victor Udofia yesterday took his consultations for the 2019 Ikono/Ini House of reps seat to another level by consulting PDP Ward Vice Chairmen and Secretaries in Ini LGA.

The Ikono Assembly man declared his intentions to run for the federal seat citing passion for development and his overwhelming commitment to the welfare of his people as the bedrock of his ambition. He submitted himself for proper assessment and solicited he be judged based on his antecedents and proven track record of achievements.

He appealed for support from the stakeholders and also rallied support for His Excellency the Governor, Mr. Udom Emmanuel and The Senate Minority Leader, Senator Godswill Akpabio in their 2nd term Governorship and Senate bids respectively.

The 10 PDP Ward Vice Chairmen and Secretaries in their separate responses lauded the two-time lawmaker for his desire to take up higher responsibility and extolled his achievements across Ikono/Ini even when he had only the mandate of Ikono people. They described him as a steadfast, tenacious and committed leader who goes the extra mile to put smiles on the faces of his constituents. They also unanimously thanked him for facilitating the Construction of Mbiabong/Nkari road and also grading roads across the 10 wards of Ini LGA early this year.

As the party nominations draw near,  the stakeholders made it clear that they would not waste their votes supporting those given to peddling falsehood and propaganda without tangible and visible achievements to show neither will they support "carry go" politics as that era was long over. His Excellency the Governor and Senate Minority Leader they said had remarkable landmarks to show and as such deserved their overwhelming support.

Against the backdrop of blunt refusal of some candidates to consult the party delegates believing that the ticket will be automatic, the stakeholders appreciated Rt.Hon.Udofia for being the only aspirant reaching out to statutory delegates to solicit their support. 

High point of the consultations were prayers for the success of the Rt.Hon Member at the forthcoming party nominations.
