Ongoing in Eket Council Hall is Emergency Security Meeting convened by the Chairman of Eket, Hon. Frank Archibong with Village Heads and Youth Presidents across the entire LGA in respect of the security threat witnessed few days ago where few lives were lost.

In attendance are the Paramount Ruler of Eket, HRM Edidem E. C. D. Abia, Clan Heads, Village Heads, Security Operatives, youth leaders, etc.
